Paul is a skilled litigator with over 40 years of trial experience. His specialties are trial and appellate civil litigation, including complex commercial litigation, information technology and intellectual property, real estate, and commercial and corporate law, including class actions. Paul also provides advice and counsel on commercial and corporate matters, real estate, information technology, software, internet and other IT services, and the discovery of electronically stored information and litigation holds.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Paul had a career in systems analysis and programming mainframes. His real world experiences and lessons learned in the technology industry allow him to find practical solutions to his clients problems. Paul is also a contributing author of articles on remedies and real property law in Hawai‘i and has spoken before a variety of groups on real property and information technology issues.
Paul is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Hawai‘i and the U.S. District Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Paul is also a licensed arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, Dispute Prevention & Resolution, Inc, and the Court Annexed Arbitration Program, First Circuit Court, State of Hawai‘i.
